Over the last decade, through his mind-blowing illusions, Lake has commanded audiences of military personnel and their families totaling multiple thousands across more than a dozen countries around the globe, fostering morale by bringing them all a sense of home.
“Because of their service and dedication, I can’t think of a more deserving audience,” Lake states.
“These are people who can really use a little bit of magic in their lives. It is the least I can do to thank our troops for their service.”
Lake was a breakout star in 2018 on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and his illusions have been viewed on YouTube and Facebook more than 70 million times. The master illusionist who has dominated the world of magic since first becoming the youngest magician in history to win the coveted Merlin Award for “International Stage Magician of the Year” felt most impassioned to get involved by bringing his powerful gift to those men and women putting their lives on the line.
