How do I get schedule information on specific shows?
We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.
-
Why do entertainers perform for the military?
Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.
-
How much do tickets cost?
It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.
-
Why are there occasional schedule changes?
Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.
-
Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?
It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.
Patrick DeGuire started performing stand-up after losing a significant amount of vision and discovering laughter to be self-therapeutic. Soon after getting started, he won the Improv/Harrah’s National Comedy Club Talent Search, which became the catalyst for pursuing a career in stand-up. DeGuire has had numerous appearances on national television, including Comedy Central, “Comics Unleashed” on CBS and “Que Locos” on Galavision. DeGuire has been heard on nationally syndicated radio shows such as “The Bob & Tom Show” and NPR. DeGuire has performed and toured with comedians such as Tom Segura, Theo Von, Gary Owen, Tommy Davidson, Gabriel Iglesias, George Lopez and Paul Rodriguez. Besides headlining at the top comedy clubs throughout the United States, he has also performed for U.S. troops overseas in Australia, the Bahamas, Bahrain, the Caribbean, Cuba (Guantanamo Bay), Diego Garcia, Djibouti, Greenland, Guam, Honduras, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates.
DeGuire’s material includes the advantages and disadvantages of living in a world with limited vision and the challenges that arise from it. DeGuire discusses the obstacles of relationships and being a father and stepfather to eight children. He also addresses an assortment of other insightful and hilarious topics.
Adam Hunter is one of the hottest comedians today. He headlines all over the world, putting his heart and soul into every performance with an act that is hilarious. Hunter has a comedy special called “Throwing Punches,” the first ever to be produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), which is currently airing on UFC Fight Pass. Hunter is the host of two comedy specials: “Adam Hunter’s UFC Comedy Jam” on UFC Fight Pass and “Adam Hunter: Still Broke” on Amazon Prime. He is a regular guest on “Gutfeld!” on Fox News.
Hunter was a finalist on “Last Comic Standing” and has also been seen on Showtime, Comedy Central, ”The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, “Chelsea Lately,” ESPN’s “SportsNation,” MTV, VH1, truTV and more. Hunter has performed at arenas, colleges and comedy clubs around the world. He’s also done numerous military tours for U.S. troops stationed in the Middle East, Africa, Greenland, South America and other locations.
A prolific writer, Hunter has been the head writer of the Mixed-Martial Arts (MMA) Awards for 12 years running. His current projects include the TV pilot “Pinned,” which he wrote, executive-produced and starred in. Hunter also has a show called “Kamikaze Comedy,” which he hosts and stars in. He currently hosts the “MMA Roasted” podcast.
Hunter prides himself on telling more jokes per minute than you’ve ever heard from a comedian at a comedy show. No topic is off limits; his act ranges from jokes about marriage and fatherhood to pop culture and everything in between.
Award-winning comedian Paul Ogata’s show is often improvised and always hilarious. Ogata has appeared on Showtime, Comedy Central, “The Late Late Show,” “Celebrity Family Feud” and more. Ogata headlines Las Vegas’s top comedy clubs, including co-starring in Cirque du Soleil’s “Mad Apple” production. Ogata is a highly sought-after comedian for the top cruise lines who has also performed extensively for the U.S. military overseas.
