A Salute to Father-in-Laws
News

Father-in-Laws: fear ‘em, tolerate ‘em, love ‘em… We’re kidding, but let’s face it. Our in-laws aren’t chosen, but they are family forever. In times like these, we should savor and capture every moment we share with our families and loved ones, whether near or far away.
So this Father-In-Law day, let’s give our “Dad” the recognition he deserves. They did let you in the “circle of trust,” after all.

Here are Some Ideas for Celebrating Father-In-Law’s Day

Organize a Zoom meeting with your spouse and the kids!
Zoom call with wife and son

During these times of social isolation, it’s important to stay connected to our family and loved ones. If you can’t meet up in person, setting up a quick family gathering over your favorite video-conferencing app would be a great way to show you care.

Take him to your favorite fishing hole for an outdoor getaway.
Fishing with your father-in-law
Just you, your father-in-law, a tub of bait, and a cooler full of his favorite beverage. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know Pops on a deeper level. Or if you prefer, you two can just let the calm splash of the water do the talking 😉

Treat him to a round of golf
Playing Golf
What’s more satisfying to a father than a perfectly manicured lawn? Chasing a golf ball across a much bigger, just as manicured lawn, in a golf cart. If you were looking for a reason to hit the links, Father-In-Law’s day is the perfect excuse.

Serve Up Some Bacon & Blue Cheese Burgers, Robert Irvine style

There are few things that dads enjoy more than an honest-to-goodness family cookout. If you are able to safely meet with family, preparing a small feast for the occasion is a great way to show your gratitude.
