Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

Chris Brophy–DISC GOLF

Brophy organized his first disc golf tournament as a little kid, when he dragged his younger brother and sister up to their local Southern California park. Over the last several years, Brophy has travelled the world competing, promoting and spreading his passion for disc golf, amazed at the growth he has seen. It was such a little-known sport when he started, but now, disc golf is thriving with over 16,000 courses in over 90 countries. The beauty of flight, time spent in nature and the overall simplicity of the game have captivated tens of millions of players across the globe, with over 5,000 sanctioned and 100,000 unsanctioned tournaments to compete in each year. As an ambassador for Innova Discs, Brophy continues to promote and compete at the highest level, coming off his top-winning season to date. Brophy turned professional in 1998 and has competed in more than 365 events with 59 career wins. One benefit Brophy continues to highlight is disc golf as a lifetime sport, with a set of skills one can continue to develop well into old age. One of Brophy’s beloved mentors was an over-100-year-old world champion—and he didn’t even start playing until he was 93! Disc golf is truly for everybody. There’s always room for improvement, and one is never done learning.
