Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

Patrick DeGuire

Patrick DeGuire started performing stand-up after losing a significant amount of vision and discovering laughter to be self-therapeutic. Soon after getting started, he won the Improv/Harrah’s National Comedy Club Talent Search, leading to numerous appearances on national television, including Comedy Central and “Que Locos” on Galavision. DeGuire has been heard on nationally syndicated radio shows, such as “The Bob & Tom Show” and NPR. DeGuire has performed and toured with such comedians as Tom Segura, Theo Von, Gary Owen, Tommy Davidson, Gabriel Iglesias, George Lopez, and Paul Rodriguez. Besides headlining at the top comedy clubs throughout the United States, he has also performed for U.S. troops overseas in Australia, the Bahamas, Bahrain, the Caribbean, Cuba (Guantanamo Bay), Diego Garcia, Djibouti, Greenland, Guam, Honduras, Iraq, Japan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.

DeGuire’s material includes the advantages and disadvantages of living in a world with limited vision and the challenges that arise from it. DeGuire discusses the obstacles of relationships and being a father and stepfather to eight children. He also addresses an assortment of other insightful and hilarious topics.

Jamie Lissow

Actor and comedian Jamie Lissow is currently a regular weekly guest on the #1-rated late-night talk show “Gutfeld!” on Fox. Lissow is best known for his starring role in two seasons on the Netflix Original Series “Real Rob,” alongside “Saturday Night Live” alums Rob Schneider, Adam Sandler, Norm Macdonald, and David Spade—a show Lissow co-wrote and co-produced.

Lissow has appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “The Late Late Show,” “Last Comic Standing,” his own half-hour Comedy Central special, and a Dry Bar comedy special with over 20 million views. Lissow recently wrapped his first movie—a movie he co-wrote and produced—“Daddy Daughter Trip,” where he appears alongside John Cleese, Rob Schneider, and Michael Bublé.

Lissow is currently working on the feature film “The Animal 2” for Fox/Tubi and continues to headline comedy clubs across the country.

Johnny Herrera

California native Johnny Herrera was born in Port Hueneme, raised in Chula Vista/National City, and now resides in Wildomar. Always the center of attention, Herrera knew he wanted to make people laugh when he got older. Although he was always getting into trouble for talking in class and not paying attention, joking around led to him being presented with the class clown award in fifth grade. His material is about being overweight, his wife and children, his parents, being a DJ, and much more.

Herrera has been the CEO, DJ, producer, booker, and officiant of HAIRlarious Comedy and HAIRlarious Entertainment since 2013. He runs numerous shows from the Inland Empire down to San Diego. Be sure to invite your family and friends and get ready to laugh the night away! #LaughNowSmileLater!

Concrete

From an early childhood that led him through every urban town in the San Fernando Valley to finally calling Sylmar, California, his home, Cristian Gutierrez, now better known as Concrete, has the makings of an upbringing that, to this day, solidifies his eclectic creative prowess in a city that demands creativity. Concrete was able to perfect his trade, create his brand, and eventually end up having two radio records, “Certified Kush” and “We Can Make it Rain,” on the major Los Angeles-based hip-hop radio station Power 106 and 35 other major stations across the country. Sharing the stage with luminaries like DJ Quik, G-Unit, Cypress Hill, Fat Joe, and Kid Frost, Concrete’s journey in the music scene reached impressive heights. Collaborations with Hip-Hop heavyweights, such as Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, and members of The Outlaws, solidified his position in the industry.
