Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

Marshall Faulk

Marshall Faulk is a former NFL football player who dominated as one of the highest-achieving running backs of all time. He earned his Bachelor of Science in business marketing at San Diego State University, where he was a three-time All-American football player. Faulk was the second overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. During his time in the NFL, he played 5 years for the Indianapolis Colts and 8 years for the St. Louis Rams.

Faulk is a seven-time Pro-Bowler and was named the NFL Player of the Year in 2000. He is a member of the Greatest Show on Turf, a name given to the St. Louis Rams team that appeared in two Super Bowls and won Super Bowl XXXIV. Faulk is one of only three NFL players to attain 10,000 rushing yards and 5,000 receiving yards and the only one to amass 12,000 yards rushing and 6,000 yards receiving. In 2011, Faulk was selected for the distinct honor of being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He also worked as a pro football analyst for “NFL Total Access,” “Thursday Night Football,” and “NFL Game Day Morning” on the NFL Network.

Along with his passion for football, Faulk has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. He purchased Popeyes franchises, helped launch Midwest Elevators, and partnered with Edge Sports to form the Alliance Management Group, which represents athletes in football, baseball, and basketball.

In 2015, Faulk established the San Diego chapter of T&M Urban Ventures for the purpose of providing better education and housing conditions for low-income families. He is also the national spokesperson for The Foundation for a Drug-Free World. In addition to partnering with NFL alumni, the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and San Diego State University, he loves that he is able to provide financial education to the various communities in which he has lived.

Jim Zorn

Jim Zorn is a former NFL quarterback and long-time NFL coach. He came into the NFL in 1975, signing with the Dallas Cowboys as a free agent. Playing 7 more years for the Seahawks, Zorn threw over 20,000 yards in the NFL, mostly to his favorite (Hall of Fame) wide receiver, Steve Largent. Zorn retired from playing in 1987 before starting his 27-year coaching career, with 16 years at the NFL level. His career is highlighted by going to the Superbowl in 2006 with Matt Hasselbeck as his quarterback and becoming Head Coach of the Washington Redskins (now the Commanders) in 2008. Zorn now resides in Seattle with his family, where he continues to coach individuals and speaks at various events. He supports and volunteers his time with Medical Teams International.

He set six NFL career records and participated in seven Pro Bowls.
