Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

American Authors

Since releasing their debut album “Oh, What a Life” in 2014, New York-based pop-rock outfit American Authors have experienced milestones most bands only dream about. They’ve watched their music climb to the top of the charts and seen singles go multiplatinum. They’ve played awards shows, hit the stages of legendary venues all over the world, and toured the world with bands such as Andy Grammer, O.A.R., OneRepublic, The Revivalists, and The Fray.

Their anthemic hit single “Best Day of My Life” has been featured in over 600 movie trailers, TV shows, and commercials and as a theme song for the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Despite these accolades, lead singer Zac Barnett vows that the best day of their lives is still yet to come. “We just want to keep going,” he says. “We can’t wait to continue this adventure.”

Originally formed in 2006 at Berklee College of Music in Boston, American Authors—Zac Barnett (vocals/guitar), Dave Rublin (bass), and Matt Sanchez (drums)—eventually dropped out of college and moved to Brooklyn to continue refining their airtight songcraft.

“My whole reason for attending Berklee College of Music was to find other like-minded musicians to start a band with. I knew I had found those people after the first night we jammed,” claims Barnett.

Shortly after moving to Brooklyn, American Authors crossed paths with Shep Goodman while playing a gig in the city. Eventually signing with Goodman’s production company, Dirty Canvas, the band wrote and recorded “Believer” and quickly saw the track thrown into rotation on SiriusXM’s Alt Nation radio. Their next song, “Best Day of My Life,” was featured in a commercial campaign for Lowe’s. Shortly after, American Authors inked a deal with Island Records.

By 2018, the guys had impressively generated over 1 billion global streams on a string of alternately striking and soaring smashes. Their inescapable and instantly recognizable breakthrough “Best Day of My Life” earned a triple-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), vaulted to #11 on the Billboard Hot 100, and received countless film, television, video game, and sports syncs.

Their 2014 full-length debut, “Oh, What A Life,” achieved gold status, while the follow-up, “What We Live For,” spawned another Top 20 hit, “Go Big or Go Home,” in 2016. Along the way, they sold out shows around the globe and ignited stages at festivals, including Lollapalooza, Firefly Music Festival, BottleRock Napa Valley, Reading Festival, and Leeds Festival, to name a few.

Bryce Vine

Since popping off with the double-platinum smashes “Drew Barrymore” and “La La Land”, Bryce Vine has tallied up more than 3.5 billion streams to date and delivered a series of unforgettable performances on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!”, Nick Cannon Presents: “Wild ‘N Out,” “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” “Good Morning America,” “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” and more.

Vine’s catalog touts two Top 15 and two Top 40 radio singles. He’s pushed himself outside the confines of genre, collaborating with everyone from YG, Loud Luxury, Two Friends, Schwayze, Wale, lovelytheband, Train, Cheat Codes, Steve Aoki, Cash Cash, Parmalee, Jeremih, and more. Vine has built an impressive touring career selling out venues in North America yearly for half a decade and has dominated at the top of the college touring market for even longer.

In 2025, Bryce will release his first-ever independent full-length album, “Motel California,” the follow-up to 2019’s “Carnival.”
