How do I get schedule information on specific shows?
We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.
-
Why do entertainers perform for the military?
Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.
-
How much do tickets cost?
It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.
-
Why are there occasional schedule changes?
Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?
It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.
Since the formation of Alien Ant Farm in 1995, the quartet has enjoyed worldwide success. Over the course of their four studio albums, they have sold more than five million units, earned a Grammy nomination, and accumulated four top 10 singles. The band built a massive following on the road early in their career via high-profile tour runs in 2001 with Linkin Park, Papa Roach, and others, and as the headliner on an MTV-presented Fall Tour. In 2002, their fame spread across the world, steering them to major European festivals and Australia’s Big Day Out, and headlining performances in Japan. The following year, they returned to Europe with Metallica.
From the beginning, the clever humor of vocalist Dryden Mitchell and guitarist Terry Corso has delivered visual imagery that made the band vanguards in the realm of music video production. “Smooth Criminal” was voted the #2 video of 2001 on MTV’s end-of-the-year countdown, and the band appeared on the channel’s programs, including “Celebrity Dismissed,” “MTV Cribs,” and “House of Style.” They also appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” With all the notoriety also came a 2001 Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance.
In 1999, Alien Ant Farm self-released their debut album, “Greatest Hits,” which went on to win Best Independent Album at the L.A. Music Awards. In 2000, they signed to DreamWorks SKG, and went on to release “ANThology.” The following year, a cover of Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal” became a massive hit overseas, rising to #1 in Australia and New Zealand, and on the U.S. Modern Rock charts. It also rose to #3 in the U.K.
In 2003, Alien Ant Farm entered the studio with Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert and Dean DeLeo and produced “Truant.” In 2006, “Up In The Attic,” their fourth studio album, was released, and in 2009, the band performed in Kansas City, at the Sonisphere Festival in Knebworth, U.K., and on the Warped Tour in memory of Michael Jackson.
