May 1, 2023 – A live, interactive dueling piano show, Battle of the Keys, will be touring with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) this May. As a recurring tour, Battle of the Keys features a rotating cast of talented musicians who play versions of popular songs from all genres and decades. This tour features Stephen Dakin, Christopher Hatfield, and Tyson Leslie.

Battle of the Keys musicians come from a wide variety of musical backgrounds, many of whom have been involved in music since a young age. Most have degrees in music or performance, and in addition to their talent on the piano, are gifted singers. All musicians must have the ability to perform well across genres, including rock, country, R&B, pop, and more. Many have experience in dueling piano bars, and create interactive experiences with audiences.

The “dueling pianos” format includes multiple pianists “competing” on various songs as fast-paced duets or trios, requiring a deep understanding of music theory and composition. While popular in designated “dueling piano” bars, interactive piano shows are also popular at parties, private events, and as part of larger tours.
