Alternative rock band The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will be touring with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) this year as part of AFE’s annual Heat Wave Summer Concert Series. The tour will feature five shows on bases across Europe from June 28 to July 6, 2024.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was formed in 2003 and has been continually releasing new music since. Their 2006 single “Face Down,” which addressed the issue of domestic abuse, achieved both commercial and popular success, helping the band become a household name.

Since then, the band has continued to find success. Their single “False Pretense” went Gold, and the singles “Face Down” and “Your Guardian Angel” both went multi-platinum. Their 2006 debut album, “Don’t You Fake It,” achieved numerous high-ranking chart positions and a robust digital history of 1.2 billion streams. As one of the leading bands of the alternative rock movement, they became the first “emo” band with a Top 10 hit on Top 40 radio, and were featured on an episode of reality-TV franchise “The Hills”.

The band has been a continuous touring draw globally, from their early days sharing stages with My Chemical Romance and Taking Back Sunday to performing with Warped Tour Nation and beyond. In 2022, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus was chosen to open the scene-centric “When We Were Young” festival.

Powered by an endless capacity for musical discovery and a great sense of humanity, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus continues to create new music and connect with audiences worldwide.

AFE has been committed to boosting the morale and well-being of service members and their families stationed overseas through world-class live events and performances since 1951.
