Magicians and performers Krendl, Michael Rosman and Keara “Tumbleweed” Scannell will be touring with Circus of Enchantment: Marvels of Magic and Juggling with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) this spring. The family-friendly tour will feature six shows across Europe from April 8-19, 2024.
Magician and mind reader Krendl has performed on some of the most iconic stages in more than 20 countries worldwide, including the Sydney Opera House and Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. In a career spanning more than three decades, he has wowed audiences of all generations with everything from magic comedy to mentalist illusions, and his ability to connect with audiences globally.
In 2000, Krendl established his own magic company and became a full-time performer in Virginia Beach, VA, where he won the “Attraction of the Year Award” and “Best in Show” for five years in a row. During this time, Krendl’s passion and drive sparked his production of entertainment and creating new shows and content with his magic, and he founded Magical Solutions Inc., which became the first agency of its kind in the region, specializing in novelty and specialty acts.
He embarked on a 5-year tour with the world’s largest and most successful magic company, The Illusionist Live from Broadway, performing in over 15 countries..
Krendl attributes his success to his core belief in creating meaning with events and performances, focusing on transforming people’s emotions and never losing the passion for connecting with people. All Krendl’s programs and projects embody this philosophy, from teaching children to perform magic with meaning, raising over $500,000 for schools and non-profits through his fundraising shows, or delivering inspirational messages on corporate platforms.
For more than 35 years, Michael Rosman has been delighting audiences with his unique blend of comedy, juggling and spoof magic. A prolific creator, he launched The Grad Mobile during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, offering socially distant graduation ceremonies at venues throughout the Mid-Atlantic, helping ensure graduates and their families could enjoy important milestones together.
Rosman holds degrees from the University of Delaware and the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus Clown College. His performances have captivated audiences in venues across the globe. In addition to his live performances, he has founded acclaimed comedy groups, such as The DumbWaiters and Dingbats, and has been awarded the prestigious Maryland State Individual Artist Grant Award twice. As director of the Laughter Arts Foundation, he organizes professional development conferences for professional artists.
Aptly nicknamed “Tumbleweed,” Keara Scannell embodies the essence of her namesake. With effortless grace and agility, she twirls herself and objects around her, delighting audiences wherever she goes.
Tumbleweed began her skating career as a teenager when she would welcome shoppers at her parents’ roller rink-turned-retail store, Leon & Lulu, serving customers coffee and cookies while they shopped.
A multi-talented performer, she is trained in various disciplines, including roller skating, fire performance, stilt walking, juggling, knot throwing, lasso tricks and clowning. With her wide range of creative talents, she is poised to captivate any audience that comes her way.
