How do I get schedule information on specific shows?
We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.
-
Why do entertainers perform for the military?
Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.
-
How much do tickets cost?
It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.
-
Why are there occasional schedule changes?
Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.
-
Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?
It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.
Stand-up comedian Shaun Eli has rightfully been called one of America’s smartest comics. Whether it’s a story about dining with a vegetarian or successfully fighting a parking ticket in criminal court, master storyteller Shaun Eli shows you that there’s hilarity in the ordinary if you approach life with a comedic warp. Job interviews? How about the Ten Commandments? For just about anything he’s experienced, he has hilarious stories at the ready. With a sense of humor that’s both cheerful and universal, Shaun Eli has headlined shows on five continents. In 2021, he received a major profile in The New York Times.
Andy Pitz started performing stand-up professionally in 1990. His clean and engaging style landed him spots on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and several other shows no longer on television. Andy Pitz’s comedy can currently be heard daily on SiriusXM radio and on voice memos he sends to his friends via texting apps.
Comic Kerri Louise’s Showtime comedy special, “Funny Women of a Certain Age,” is streaming now, along with her Dry Bar special, “I’m Street Smart.” She’s been on “Oprah,” “The Dr. Oz Show,” and “The Howard Stern Show.” Kerri Louise was a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and starred in her own reality TV show, “Two Funny,” on the WE network. Kerri Louise has been featured countless times on Comedy Central, VH1 and truTV.
She’s been on numerous TV talk shows and podcasts, and three of her albums, “Yummy Mommy,” “Funny Mommy” and “Menopause Mommy,” can all be heard on SiriusXM Radio. You’ve seen her high heels on stages like “The Apprentice,” “America’s Got Talent,” “Comics Unleashed,” “Gotham Live” and across the country performing for the troops. Her very first warm-up TV show was the “The Sally Jesse Raphael Show,” and then later, she was the warm-up for “The View.” Kerri Louise can be seen at top comedy clubs and festivals nationwide.
She lives in New York with her comedian husband Tom Cotter and their three sons. Together, they have a live show on Spotify called “A Couple of Laughs.” Being in a household full of testosterone, Kerri Louise needed an escape, so she started her “Family Group Chat” videos on her socials. Those viral videos have inspired Kerri Louise to write her third book, “If You Give a Mom a Glass of Wine,” a funny parody of “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.”
Kerri Louise’s books “Harry the Elephant has a Peanut Allergy” and “Mean Mommy” are also on sale now on Amazon. This three-time author, hilarious comic and mother of three boys (four if you count her husband) can be found performing all over the country.
We’ve got your back with the latest announcements and highlights so you never miss a moment from our tours.
