Why do entertainers perform for the military?
Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

Why are there occasional schedule changes?
Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?
It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.
Johnny Suite is an Island Reggae singer/songwriter from Kipapa, Hawaii. His 2020 debut EP, “Keep It Movin’,” was nominated for an Island Music Award, and is still heavily played in Hawaii. His single “Thank You” is his most well-known track, with over 2.5 million Spotify streams and almost 2.8 million YouTube views to date.
Johnny was nominated as the Breakout Artist of the Year at the second annual Island Music Awards in 2019. He has toured domestically with Grammy-nominated Maoli and internationally with four-time Island Music Award winner Fia. The international run took them through New Zealand, the Cook Islands, and Australia. He recently made his mainland U.S. debut in Anaheim, California, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
His latest releases include “I Choose to Love” and “God Gave Me You.”
Mistah Chante is an international reggae artist known for his dapper clothing, quirky personality, and witty, sarcastic humor. His music is reminiscent of his home base of Hawaii, reflecting its melting pot culture with a unique musical style that includes reggae. His lyrics connect people around the world on topics about life, struggle, and identity. His primary musical influences include Alborosie, Chronixx, and Protoje.
His love of music began as a child, starting with jam sessions at family events and growing as he learned to play the ukulele and keyboard. His cousin, a member of a well-known reggae band Irie Souls, influenced him into entering the reggae music scene.
Chante has notably played with top reggae artists like J Boog, Sammy J, Siaosi, Kiwini Vaitai, The Jimmy Weeks Project, Peni Dean, Micah G, Kaipo Kapua, So Roots, and many more.
Chante’s debut EP, “Ready,” topped the Reggae charts at #1 in early 2022. “Ready” is Chante’s introduction to the world as a solo artist, and he is looking to drop more projects soon.
