How do I get schedule information on specific shows?
We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.
-
Why do entertainers perform for the military?
Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.
-
How much do tickets cost?
It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.
-
Why are there occasional schedule changes?
Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?
It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.
Ty Barnett, a Chicago native, started his career at Seattle’s Comedy Underground, and his star keeps rising! Dedicated to bringing the funny, he has been called “hilarious” (Whoopi Goldberg), “a true talent” (Simon Cowell), and “naturally funny” (Howie Mandell).
His thought-provoking style and ability to appeal to diverse audiences have earned him countless TV appearances, including as a finalist in the Emmy-nominated “Last Comic Standing.” Since then, Ty has made multiple “Tonight Show” appearances and has been featured on “America’s Got Talent,” HBO’s “Bad Boys of Comedy,” Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0,” Nickelodeon, and his own “Comedy Central Presents” special. Barnett’s other appearances include his Dry Bar comedy special and his specials “Issues” and “Grown Man, Baby Steps.”
His other TV credits include “Life in Pieces,” “‘til Death,” “Samantha Who,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” “A Million Little Things,” and “Gen V.” Barnett has been called “one to watch” by the Hollywood Reporter.
Andy Woodhull has appeared on “The Late Late Show” with James Corden, “Conan,” “Live at Gotham,” and “The Half Hour” on Comedy Central. He was the first comedian to make his network television debut on “The Tonight Show,” starring Jimmy Fallon.
His Dry Bar Comedy special has over 11 million views on YouTube. All six of his comedy albums are in rotation on Sirius XM, and his jokes have played over 50 million times on Pandora.
A native of Oakland, California, Kirk McHenry’s comedy pulls from his many life experiences, from the inner city to prep school, college, and life in the Marine Corps. Versatile and always funny, his unique perspective keeps a diverse range of audiences laughing. A master storyteller, McHenry’s signature brand of comedy is reminiscent of a modern version of comedy greats Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby.
He has been featured on BET’s “ComicView,” BET’s “One Mic Stand,” and “Jamie Foxx Presents Laffapalooza” and has entertained U.S. troops around the world. He has opened for many popular comedians, including Paul Mooney, Bobby Slayton, Gary Owen, Charlie Murphy, Tommy Davidson, and Eddie Griffin, as well as musicians like The Whispers, Howard Hewett, and Kem. As he continues to share his hilarious comedy style, he is well on his way to being a household name.
