Las Vegas-based group Mojo Juju is slated to tour with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) next summer. The AFE alums are scheduled to perform during the annual AFE Heat Wave summer event series, featuring in four shows at bases across the Pacific, July 1-6, 2023.
Mojo Juju is a four-piece, dynamic rock band. Lead singer Lea Cappelli has a diverse vocal range that transcends genre. Her voice can be heard on more than 150 television shows on Netflix, HBO, The CW, and more.
Guitarist Nazim Chambi uses his flair and signature showmanship to elevate the band’s on-stage presence. After years of touring with Jody Watley, he now brings his infectious rock ‘n’ roll style to Mojo Juju. Daniel Duran (drums) and Denny Hechevarria (bass) complete the band’s set.
Cappelli and Chambi met and formed the band in 2021 when they played Amy Winehouse and Jimi Hendrix, respectively, in the musical revue “27—A Musical Adventure” in Las Vegas. Mojo Juju infuses old school rock with a modern flair, creating a unique sonic style that leaves audiences spellbound.
AFE has been committed to boosting the morale and well-being of service members and their families stationed overseas through world-class live events and performances since 1951.
