April 5, 2023 – Chef Robert Irvine, host of Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible and author, entrepreneur, and fitness guru, will be visiting U.S. military bases overseas next month to meet with troops and share his support. A veteran himself, Chef Irvine is deeply committed to the health and well-being of service men and women. His charity, the Robert Irvine Foundation, is committed to helping military members and their families through practical assistance and support for physical, mental, and holistic wellness.
During his week-long tour, Chef Irvine will host a series of “Meet and Greet” events with military personnel to express appreciation for their service, and provide his signature brand of encouragement, challenge, and inspiration. Pulling from his experience working with restauranteurs and others who find themselves in seemingly impossible situations, Chef Irvine’s message is one of resilience, tenacity, and hope. His successes, philanthropy, and commitment to doing good for others have made him popular with millions of people worldwide.
Chef Irvine has been involved with countless active service and veterans’ projects, including tours with the United Services Organization (USO), hosting Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day events, working with businesses to provide for the needs to military families, and more. His service has garnered him multiple honors through the U.S. military, as well as civilian awards and accolades.
The tour is presented by Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE). Since 1951, AFE has been providing the best performances for U.S. troops and their families stationed overseas, and they are committed to boosting the morale and well-being of service members through world-class live events and performances.
