UFC Lightweight veteran Vinc Pichel spoke to Tony Reid of MyMMANews during his time in the Middle East on the Fighters for Freedom tour. Pichel, along with fellow fighters Carla Esparza, Alexander Herenandez, Louis Smolka and Shane Kruchten are visiting the heroic men and women of various branches of our Armed Forces for two weeks to spread joy and cheer while showing admiration and appreciation for those service men and women who are away from their loved ones during the holiday season.
Pichel shares intense stories of visiting bombed bunkers in Kuwait. He talks about being a human chew toy to trained dogs while working with the Air Force. We also hear stories about intense ping pong games, weight lifting contests, what’s next for him inside the Octagon and much more.
