Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

Anthony Robles

Anthony Robles had a decorated collegiate career as a wrestler. Despite being born with only one leg, he was a three-time wrestling All-American, the 2011 NCAA Division 1 National Champion and was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012. Since 2012, Robles has been a college wrestling expert and analyst for ESPN. He was a member of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition from 2013–16.

He was named the National Wrestling Media Association’s Broadcaster of the Year in 2015 and was inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Athletics Hall of Fame in 2022.

Robles is an official Nike athlete and became a published author with his book, “Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion,” released in 2012. In 2025, it was turned into a feature film, “Unstoppable”, which stars Jharrel Jerome and Jennifer Lopez and is available on Amazon Prime. His inspirational story has enabled him to mentor young athletes both at home and abroad.

Randy Johnson

Randy Johnson was an elite athlete who used his height to his advantage in both baseball and basketball. He turned down the Atlanta Braves after they drafted him in the fourth round in 1982, opting for a combination baseball/basketball scholarship at the University of Southern California (USC). However, once Johnson began concentrating solely on baseball following his sophomore year, he was firmly on the path to Cooperstown.

In 22 seasons, Johnson led his league in strikeouts nine times, earned four ERA titles and recorded 100 complete games with 37 shutouts. He was named to 10 All-Star Games, earning four starts—the second-best all-time total. Only four left-handed pitchers (Warren Spahn, Steve Carlton, Eddie Plank and Tom Glavine) have won more games.

His 4,875 strikeouts rank No. 2 of all-time behind Ryan’s 5,714.

Johnson was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2015.
