Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their families make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your installation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

Kid Ink

Kid Ink’s mixtape hustle, ear for the underground and mainstream, and close connection to a growing fan base led to his independent debut album, “Up & Away” (2012), reaching Top 20 status. Primed for even greater success, the rapper and producer teamed with RCA for “My Own Lane” (2014) and “Full Speed” (2015), as well as the Top 20 pop hit “Show Me” and subsequent platinum singles, all of which found commercial success and showcased his emotive pop-rap. Since breaking from RCA, he has remained prolific as an indie artist with a busy release schedule of singles and “ALIVE” (2021), his fourth studio album.

Born Brian Todd Collins in Los Angeles, Kid Ink initially found fame by releasing four mixtapes in 2010 and 2011. XXL Magazine listed him beside the likes of Danny Brown and Macklemore in its 2012 “Freshman Class” feature. In June 2012, Kid Ink released “Up & Away,” his first proper studio album, through Tha Alumni. It peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200 and reached number 3 on the R&B/hip-hop chart.

After another tape, Kid Ink signed with RCA and made his major-label debut with the “Almost Home” EP—a number 27 entry on the Billboard 200. In January 2014, he released his number 3 hit with his second album, “My Own Lane,” which contained two hit singles featuring Chris Brown: “Show Me,” a number 13 pop hit that quickly went triple platinum, and “Main Chick,” which also achieved platinum status.

“Body Language,” a collaboration with Usher and Tinashe, went platinum and built anticipation for the February 2015 arrival of his third album, “Full Speed,” which landed at number 14 and produced another platinum hit, “Be Real.” Kid Ink also achieved a multiplatinum hit as a featured artist on Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It.”

Kid Ink remained on RCA in 2019 before returning to independent artist status. He steadily released singles until April 2021, when he released his fourth studio album, “ALIVE.” He can also be heard as a featured artist on tracks by artists such as Dizzy Wright, Philthy Rich, and EDM producer Tungevaag.
