Tour FAQs
  • How do I get schedule information on specific shows?

We make it easy. The calendar and menu of events are categorized by genre and region, right here on our site.

  • Why do entertainers perform for the military?

Performers need to perform. It's in their DNA. Plus, going on tour with Armed Forces Entertainment is an opportunity for artists to give back and honor the sacrifices deployed servicemembers and their familes make on behalf of our country. For up-and-coming artists, touring with AFE is a great way to build an audience. For established artists, it's an up-close-and-personal way to say thanks to fans.

  • How much do tickets cost?

It's FREE to attend every Armed Forces Entertainment show. Every single show, every single time.

  • Why are there occasional schedule changes?

Sometimes emergencies and personal challenges pop up for scheduled artists. Add the uncertainty of world politics, and tour agendas inevitably shift. We rush the updates to the effected venue and make changes to the online show schedule as quickly as possible. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.

  • Can I invite non-military people to AFE events?

It depends on the rules of your instillation. In general, yes, non-military guests are allowed at AFE shows. But military personnel are our priority.

Pamela Hopkins

Pamela Hopkins plays piano, drums, cello, bass and harmonica, and can recall more than 1000 top 40 songs from the 1950s to today. In addition to her past Dueling Pianos tours with AFE, she performs weekly as a Dueling Piano player in Little Rock, AK. Hopkins travels throughout the year to perform with other dueling pianists and works with a band as a solo artist focused on her original country music. She married her high school sweetheart, Jason, now a disabled vet who served in Iraq in 2004-2005.

Marc Van Lue

Marc Van Lue was born in Las Vegas, NV but moved to Kansas City, MO at the age of five. He was introduced to music by his mother who was a classically trained pianist. He attended Missouri State University and would sneak into the music hall between classes to play. He is now playing in some of the most highly regarded piano rooms in the country.

Rory John Zak

Rory John Zak was born with a gift for piano in North Carolina, becoming the youngest full-time cast member in Carolina Opry history at 17. His Nashville connections allow him to write, play and tour across the Southeastern states, and release several singles on streaming platforms and radio. Rory’s music reflects his southern roots melded with the coastal influences of his early years spent on the Outer Banks and the beach life in South Carolina.
