Nashville pop artist, Danika Portz blends Midwest heart with big city sounds. Her rhythmic, contemporary and soulful sound could be compared to Ingrid Michaelson, Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran.
She is signed to publishing house Green Hills Music Group, which is headed by former Sony VP, Woody Bomar, and Grin Like A Dog Songs and is sponsored by clothing franchise Tatyana Designs, Chasing Stars Boutique and Bad Habit Boutique with makeup provided by MAC Cosmetics.
Her vocals have been featured on CBS's Big Brother, NBC’s Spartan, as well as the theme song for MTV's Virgin Territory. Danika has been interviewed and featured in Country Weekly, MusicRow, and Billboard Magazines.
Danika has performed at CMA Fest, Hard Rock Cafes and Casinos, many colleges and universities around the US, Nashville's legendary Bluebird Cafe and Wildhorse Saloon, has opened for hit acts like Martina McBride, Dan+Shay, Michael Ray, David Cook, A Thousand Horses, & Dylan Scott, has played air shows around the US, and has headlined five Armed Forces Entertainment tours to SW Asia, the Mediterranean, and Europe. Her hit single, My Superhero, was written about that experience and she has teamed up with wounded Iraq War Vet and former Dancing With The Stars finalist, Noah Galloway's No Excuses Charity to donate a portion of the proceeds from the song.
