Kylie Bivens

Born and raised in Upland, California, Kylie found her love for soccer at a young age. She was a star high school player where she was listed among the Top-25 recruits in the nation by USA Today and among the Super 11 recruits in the West by Soccer America. After high school she took her soccer talents to play for Santa Clara University where she led her team to four straight NCAA Final Four appearances. Throughout her college career Kylie was a key player in the Bronco’s dominating defense and was named an All-WCC and All-West Region player and was named the Team’s Defensive MVP. During her time on the national team, Kylie recorded 7 caps and represented the USA at the 2003 FIFA World Cup. In her first season as an Atlanta Beat WUSA team member, Kylie notched five assists in seven games and became a dominant force as a midfielder. She was named to the inaugural WUSA All-Star South Squad and held the longest streak for consecutive minutes played until a back injury forced her to sit out.

Thori Bryan

Bryan made her first appearance for the United States women's national soccer team on March 11, 1993 in a game against Denmark. She would go on to earn 64 caps with the team from 1993 to 2003. In 1994, she helped the team win the title at the CONCACAF Qualifying Championship in Montreal and qualify for the 1995 FIFA Women's World Championship and FIFA Women's World Championship in Sweden. Bryan was a member of the 1995 Women's National Team that placed third at Sweden. She was an alternate on the 1996 Olympic Team. At one time she was considered the best marking back in America, routinely shutting down the opposition’s top scoring threat. In 2003, she was named by national team head coach, April Heinrichs, as one of the 20 players that would travel to China for the Four Nations Tournament. She also participated in the United States Olympic Festival in 1993, 1994 and 1995. She represented the United States in the 1999 Australia Cup. In 1992, her first season with North Carolina State University, she started all 22 games and was named the ACC Rookie of the Year in 1992. During her time at NC State, she was a three-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and All-South Region selection. During her senior year, she started all 22 regular season games while the Wolfpack posted an 18–4–0 record and No. 9 national ranking. Bryan played for the San Jose CyberRays in the Women's United Soccer Association, the first professional soccer league in the United States, from 2001 to 2003 and was a key member of the 2001 Founders Cup Championship Team. She was a first round pick and the first American player to be selected in the inaugural draft. She was the only player in the WUSA to play every minute of every game in the 2001 inaugural season. In 2008, after a more than four-year hiatus after the folding of the WUSA, she returned to play with the Carolina Railhawks in the W-League. Bryan was an assistant coach at Virginia Tech and currently runs the Thori Bryan Soccer Academy in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Danielle Fotopoulos

Danielle is considered a legend at her alma-mater, the University of Florida. There she led her team to the 1998 NCAA Women’s Soccer Championship and became the NCAA D-I all-time leading goal scorer. She was a two-time SEC Player of the Year at Florida and was the Soccer America Player of the Year in 1998 after leading the Gators to the NCAA championship. Fotopoulos continued her career with U.S. women’s soccer and was a member of the 1999 FIFA World Cup championship squad. She continued her professional career in the Women’s United Soccer Association and was a two-time all-star selection. After retiring from playing Fotopoulos began her college coaching career serving as co-head coach at Louisiana State University in 2003. After spending two seasons in Baton Rouge, she later became an assistant coach at her alma mater with the Gators in 2006. She is now the head coach for the successful Eckerd University Women’s Soccer Team. Fotopoulos was inducted into UF’s Hall of Fame in 2008 and into the FHSAA Hall of Fame in 2014. She is also actively involved with the sport outside of Eckerd as the current head coach of the U-15 National Team.

She became just the fourth player in U.S. WNT history to score in her first two caps. Kai scored four goals in her first seven WNT matches, including the winner in a 1–0 victory over Japan on May 9, 2006. She went on to become the first-ever player from Hawaii to play for the full Women’s National Team and to make a Women’s World Cup Team. She played in 17 games during her first year on the National Team, starting in four matches. She scored six goals, two of them in the 2006 Algarve Cup.
