About Rob Lake
Rob Lake is one of the world’s most celebrated illusionists. Fans and fellow illusionists flock to see his sold-out shows, television appearances, record-breaking world tours and mind-blowing streaming shows that prove his astonishing skills.
Lake has performed 12 live tours with AFE, and now arrives with a new virtual tour created just for AFE. Through live and pre-taped segments, Rob will blow you away with close-up magic and grand illusions, direct from his own studio.
In 2008, at just 26 years old, he became the youngest magician in history to receive The Merlin Award as International Stage Magician of the Year, the equivalent of an Oscar, and magic’s highest award from the International Magician Society. More recently, NBC named Lake “The World’s Greatest Illusionist” and Caesars Entertainment declared him “The Top Illusionist in the World.”
In addition to his own magic shows, Lake designs and creates special effects and illusions for film, television, plays and musicals, most notably Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. He stays in shape by swimming, running, and occasionally competing in triathlons. He is passionate about his partnership with AFE and the magic he brings to US troops and families overseas. He’s also a strong advocate for animal rights and often includes his rescue dog, Roger, in his show.
