Justin Barnes started motocross racing and began painting racing helmets for himself and his friends. When word-of-mouth spread of Justin’s unique artwork, he moved his growing business out of his bedroom and into a shed in his backyard. With hard work, passion and determination the business continued to grow, so Justin set up shop and officially established JB Grafix in 2001. JB Grafix was one of the featured painters for Discovery Channel’s “American Chopper” in the first few seasons. He has painted a number of well-known motorcycles such as the POW-MIA bike, the Fire bike, the I-Robot bike, the Comanche, and the Snap-On bike. JB Grafix has done custom work for Nintendo North America, Fly Helmets, and PPG Paints. JB Grafix has grown into one of the best known paint shops in the U.S., creating one-of-a-kind custom paint jobs.
Established in 1974, Taylor Guitars has evolved from a small venture between co-founders Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug into the world’s most successful and highly regarded manufacturer of high-end acoustic guitars. The company pioneered the use of computer technology, lasers, and other high-tech tools to craft acoustic guitars with unparalleled precision and consistency. The resulting blend of cutting-edge production and hands-on attention to detail has distinguished Taylors as some of the most beautiful, easy-to-play, and musically inspiring acoustic guitars in the world. Based in El Cajon, California, the company employs over 400 people and currently produces about over 300 guitars per day. Many of today’s most popular musicians play Taylors, including Dave Matthews, Prince, Clint Black, Jewel, Jason Mraz, Sarah McLachlan, the Goo Goo Dolls, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Pearl Jam, and Maroon 5. Among Taylor’s award-winning guitar innovations are its acoustic pickup, the Expression System, which brings high-fidelity acoustic tone to live performance; the GS acoustic guitar series, which players are raving about for its bold, rich voice; the groundbreaking T5 electric/acoustic hybrid, (acknowledged as one of the “Top 10 Gear Innovations of the Decade” by Guitar One magazine); and the new, all-original design SolidBody electric guitar.
